Job Description
Key Responsibilities
· Configure, and support PingFederate-based SSO solutions.
· Implement authentication and federation protocols such as SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and WS-Federation.
· Integrate enterprise, cloud, and SaaS applications with PingFederate.
· Configure Identity Providers (IdP) and Service Providers (SP).
· Troubleshoot SSO, federation, token, and authentication-related issues.
· Work with multi-factor authentication (MFA) and adaptive authentication solutions.
· Manage certificates, signing/encryption keys, and metadata exchanges.
· Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams for IAM onboarding activities.
· Perform log analysis, debugging, and root cause analysis for production issues.
· Create technical documentation, SOPs.
· Participate in deployment, migration, and upgrade activities.
Required Skills
· 4–6 years of experience in IAM technologies.
· Hands-on experience with PingFederate.
· Strong understanding of:
1. SAML 2.0
2. OAuth 2.0
3. OpenID Connect (OIDC)
4. JWT Tokens
5. Federation concepts
· Experience integrating applications using SSO.
· Good knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory.
· Experience with MFA integrations.
· Understanding of SSL certificates and cryptography basics.
· Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON.
· Knowledge of Linux/Windows server administration.
· Experience in troubleshooting authentication flows using logs and browser tools.
Preferred Skills
· Good to have experience with Ping Access or PingOne .
· Good to have exposure to Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, or Auth0.
· Scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting (Optional).
· Experience with DevOps/CI-CD pipelines (optional).
· Knowledge of Zero Trust and modern IAM security concepts.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
· Relevant Ping Identity or IAM certifications are preferred.
Soft Skills
· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
· Good communication and stakeholder management.
· Ability to work in production support and project environments.
· Team collaboration and documentation skills.
