Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to analyze attack patterns, develop incident response plans, ensure audit readiness, and implement disaster recovery measures, to ensure adherence to cyber security regulatory frameworks.

Areas of responsibility

Monitoring and Incident Detection-Analyse attack trends and correlate logs across systems to identify advance threats. Enhance monitoring processes and implement improvements for faster detection, to ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulatory standards.

Incident Handling and Analysis-Perform root cause analysis, create incident response plans and implement disaster recovery measures to minimize business disruption

Threat Assessment and Analytics-Undertake forensic analysis using advanced analytics tools and implement mitigation measures to align with compliance requirements.

Stakeholder Coordination and Audit Assistance-"Liaise with cross functional teams, external vendors and auditors to ensure compliance with security frameworks.

Maintain audit documentation and ensure its accuracy while implementing processes that support audit readiness and continuous compliance."

Training and Awareness-Assist in creating and delivering cybersecurity awareness sessions, including guidance on phishing and malicious emails.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage SAP Security across ECC, S/4HANA, BW/BI, CRM, SCM and SAP BTP environments.
  • Design, build and maintain roles and authorizations, user provisioning, and access controls.
  • Support SAP Fiori Security, including Launchpad roles, catalogs, spaces/pages, target mappings and tiles.
  • Manage SAP BTP Security, including Role Collections, Trust Configuration and User Access Management.
  • Support SAP IAS/IPS, SSO, authentication and identity provisioning.
  • Perform SAP Security upgrade activities including SU24 maintenance and SU25 execution.
  • Perform GRC/SoD analysis, access risk assessment, remediation and role redesign.
  • Support security controls, compliance reviews and internal/external audit requirements.
  • Handle incidents, service requests, security troubleshooting and production support.
  • Support change, release and transport management activities.
  • Participate in 24x7 support and on-call rotations, as required.
  • Identify opportunities for security process improvement and automation.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5–10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Security, BTP Security and GRC.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Roles & Authorizations and user/access administration.
  • Hands-on experience with ECC, S/4HANA and BW/BI Security, including Analysis Authorizations.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori, BTP, IAS/IPS and SSO security concepts.
  • Good knowledge of SAP GRC, SoD and Access Risk Management.
  • Knowledge of SAP Security architecture, transport management and landscape management.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and documentation skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work with global teams.

 

Mandatory Skills: SAP BTP Security .
