Job Description

1. Scope of work

Will be responsible for the following activities, but not limited to:

• Working with Manufacturing Sites, Engineering and Tech teams to analyse existing OT

architecture, strategy, and processes.

• Analyse, define and implement new structures and processes for existing OT Firewall

VLAN’s to ensure they align to defined internal segmentation principles.

• Develop & implement reference architectures for standard services and applications

within the OT environment.

• Define, review, and approve OT firewall rules to facilitate integration with IT & MES

systems whilst maximizing protection of the automation systems hosted on the OT

network infrastructure.

• Work with the sites to ensure that any changes are responded to and completed with the

appropriate urgency to ensure that cyber security risks are minimized.

• Support the sites in recovery from cyber security incidents and investigations.

• Work with sites to ensure that automation and lab systems are protected with the

appropriate level of cyber security protection and security controls based on a defence in

depth principles

Essential:

• 5+ years as IT/OT Network/cybersecurity professional
• Strong experience with Palo Alto Firewall
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interface with operational, capital projects and senior management within the organization.

Desirable:

• Elisity Micro segmentation Platform

Areas of responsibility

Monitoring and Incident Detection-Analyse attack trends and correlate logs across systems to identify advance threats. Enhance monitoring processes and implement improvements for faster detection, to ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulatory standards.

Incident Handling and Analysis-Perform root cause analysis, create incident response plans and implement disaster recovery measures to minimize business disruption

Threat Assessment and Analytics-Undertake forensic analysis using advanced analytics tools and implement mitigation measures to align with compliance requirements.

Stakeholder Coordination and Audit Assistance-"Liaise with cross functional teams, external vendors and auditors to ensure compliance with security frameworks.

Maintain audit documentation and ensure its accuracy while implementing processes that support audit readiness and continuous compliance."

Training and Awareness-Assist in creating and delivering cybersecurity awareness sessions, including guidance on phishing and malicious emails.
