Key Areas of Responsibility

• Requirement Gathering and Documentation: Collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to gather detailed project requirements. Assist in creating comprehensive and clear documentation to guide development efforts and ensure alignment with client expectations.
• Code Development and Configuration: Carry out coding activities adhering strictly to predefined standards and guidelines. Configure systems and applications effectively to meet specified technical and functional requirements while maintaining code quality and delivery timelines.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous unit testing to validate code functionality. Identify, document, and communicate issues or bugs promptly. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases by coordinating with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and resolution of any anomalies.
• Documentation Maintenance: Maintain and update project-related documentation including knowledge repositories and standard operating procedures. Foster knowledge sharing within the team to promote best practices and continuous improvement.
• Inter-Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with diverse teams such as quality assurance, project management, and client representatives. Ensure outputs are consistent with client needs and project objectives, facilitating timely and accurate delivery of software solutions.

Testing, Documentation, and Quality Control

An essential aspect of the Developer L2 position includes conducting thorough unit testing for each development iteration. You will be responsible for systematically identifying defects or deviations and ensuring clear and timely communication of findings to relevant teams for quick resolution.

Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is critical, requiring you to liaise effectively with clients and testers to validate that deliverables meet agreed-upon standards and operational requirements.

Moreover, you will maintain meticulous project documentation, enabling knowledge continuity and facilitating auditability. Contributions to knowledge bases and standard operating procedure documentation will also support team learning and overall operational excellence.
