Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to develop and test software modules based on client requirements and prepare project documentation while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery.

Areas of responsibility

Gathering of requirements-Assist in conducting workshops and discussions with client stakeholders to gather business process requirements.

Coding and Configuration-"Develop and deliver code for assigned modules, in alignment with client requirements ensuring proper integration with system components.

Testing and Trial Runs-"Execute testing for assigned modules, validate functionality across required interactions, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions.

Implementation-Participate in implementation of software application and its integration with other systems to ensure stability.

Maintain Documentation-Prepare detailed reports and documentation on project specifications, activities, and status, while presenting information using flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments, and clear, well-structured code.

Stakeholder Collaboration-Collaborate with cross functional teams  to understand requirements, support development activities, check system compatibility, and ensure solutions meet expected standards.

Job Requirements

Snowflake Architect(11-15 years):

  • Snowflake and Lakehouse architecture
  • Data Platform Modernization experience to snowflake
  • Snowflake certification
  • Designing Snowflake services experience- Snowpark,cortex AI
  • Data Model experience on Snowflake
  • Data Pipeline build on Snowflake
  • Medallion Architecture and DataMesh/Data Products experience
  • Mentoring Data Engineers on solutions
  • Azure /AWS data services experience
  • Technical design experience of Data Lake
  • Data Governance and Data Quality solutions
  • Solution Architecture

 

Coding/scripting experience developed in a commercial/industry setting (Python, and SQL).

Databases & frameworks:

Working experience with operational data stores, data warehouse, big data technologies and data lakes.

Experience working with relational and non-relational databases to build data solutions, such as SQL Server/Oracle, experience with relational and dimensional data structures.

Good knowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes etc)

Cloud:

Experience with any cloud(AWS,Azure)

Good understating of cloud storage, and snowflake resource provisioning

 

Key Responsibilities

Data Architect, Data Engineer, SQL/No SQL scripting, Coding Python/pyspark, ETL Job deployment, Code design, Unit testing and UAT Support
