We are seeking a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The role involves close collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams to automate deployments, improve reliability, and ensure secure, scalable cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for build, release, and deployment automation.

· Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / ARM templates / Bicep.

· Provision, configure, and manage Azure resources including App Services, Virtual Machines, AKS, Storage, Networking, and Azure SQL.

· Integrate pipelines with Git, GitHub, Azure Repos, and branching strategies.

· Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics.

· Ensure security best practices including RBAC, Azure Key Vault, secrets management, and compliance controls.

· Collaborate with development and QA teams to enable smooth build, test, and release processes.

· Troubleshoot deployment issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.

· Optimise cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability.

· Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

· Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts)

· Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps best practices

· Experience with Azure cloud services and architecture

· Proficiency in Terraform / ARM / Bicep for IaC

· Scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Bash, or Python

· Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, AKS – preferred)

· Good understanding of networking, security, and identity management in Azure

· Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident management

Desired / Good to Have

· Experience with GitHub Actions

· Exposure to DevSecOps practices

· Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-400

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Do

  • Align and focus on continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) of technology in applications 
    • Plan and Execute the DevOps pipeline that supports the application life cycle across the DevOps toolchain — from planning, coding and building, testing, staging, release, configuration and monitoring
    • Manage the IT infrastructure as per the requirement of the supported software code
    • On-board an application on the DevOps tool and configure it as per the clients need
    • Create user access workflows and provide user access as per the defined process
    • Build and engineer the DevOps tool as per the customization suggested by the client 
    • Collaborate with development staff to tackle the coding and scripting needed to connect elements of the code that are required to run the software release with operating systems and production infrastructure
    • Leverage and use tools to automate testing & deployment in a Dev-Ops environment
  • Provide customer support/ service on the DevOps tools 
    • Timely support internal & external customers on multiple platforms
    • Resolution of the tickets raised on these tools to be addressed & resolved within a specified TAT
    • Ensure adequate resolution with customer satisfaction
    • Follow escalation matrix/ process as soon as a resolution gets complicated or isn’t resolved
    • Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of critical/ repeatable issues
