Core Responsibilities: Data Architecture & Design

• Develop and maintain comprehensive end-to-end data architectures covering ingestion, transformation, storage, analytics, and consumption layers with a strong emphasis on scalability, performance, and security.
• Design and continuously enhance logical, physical, and canonical data models aligned with dynamic business strategies and compliance frameworks.
• Lead deployment and optimization of cloud-native data platforms, specifically leveraging Snowflake technologies and associated cloud services for high availability and efficient resource usage.
• Define and enforce enterprise-wide data standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across global and offshore delivery teams.
• Architect and implement Dataiku DSS projects focused on data preparation, feature engineering, analytical workflows, and machine learning pipelines emphasizing reusability and automation.
• Integrate Dataiku with enterprise data repositories like Snowflake, cloud storage, and third-party data sources to maintain robust and reliable data flows.
• Implement governance frameworks within Dataiku involving version control, workflow collaboration, and deployment management to safeguard project robustness and traceability.
• Optimize Dataiku workflows and resource allocation to enhance processing efficiency and cost-effectiveness at scale.

Snowflake Architecture & Engineering

• Architect, configure, and operationalize Snowflake data warehouses including schema design, warehouse sizing, security roles, and access controls.
• Develop optimized data models such as star, snowflake, and hybrid schemas to enable efficient querying and analytical reporting.
• Utilize advanced Snowflake capabilities including Streams & Tasks for near real-time processing, Time Travel & Zero Copy Cloning for backup and testing, and Secure Data Sharing to facilitate controlled data collaboration.
• Implement performance tuning and workload isolation strategies to ensure cost-effective and highly responsive Snowflake environments.
• Enforce rigorous security policies including role-based access, data masking, and encryption aligned with industry best practices and regulatory compliance.

ETL / Data Integration

• Design and build scalable, maintainable ETL/ELT pipelines using Dataiku and other leading tools to support complex data integration workflows.
• Create ingestion solutions supporting batch, near real-time streaming, API-based, and file-based data sources fitted to business requirements.
• Manage data transformation, validation, and reconciliation processes to assure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across systems.
• Maintain data lineage, quality controls, and audit mechanisms embedded throughout pipelines to uphold transparency and compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Technical Expertise

• Demonstrated expert proficiency in the Dataiku DSS platform encompassing data preparation, advanced modeling, workflow automation, and collaborative governance for enterprise projects.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehouse architecture including design, implementation, performance optimization, and secure configuration.
• Strong background in designing and developing scalable, maintainable ETL/ELT pipelines tailored to evolving data landscapes.
• Advanced SQL expertise with capability to craft complex queries, optimize database performance, and diagnose issues effectively.
• Proficient with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including hands-on experience with cloud data storage solutions like S3, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Google Cloud Storage (GCS).
• Comprehensive understanding of data modeling paradigms including dimensional, normalized, and data vault designs to support diverse analytic needs.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration technologies and principles to automate and streamline data processing operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience establishing and governing enterprise data governance frameworks, including metadata management and comprehensive data lineage documentation.
• Capability to define, automate, and monitor data quality assurance processes with strong validation and alerting mechanisms.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory and security requirements such as Personally Identifiable Information (PII) management and GDPR compliance to enforce data privacy and protection.
• Proven involvement supporting audit readiness and compliance in complex, highly regulated data environments.
