Role Overview

The Pre-sales Team is focused on the origination and execution of large strategic opportunities across the Southern region of Europe, to support Wipro’s growth agenda and to deliver exceptional transformational outcomes for our clients. 

We’re seeking an experienced and skilled deal execution manager, to support strategic opportunities from identification to closure. While this is a bid manager role, many of our deals will be sole sourced, so you’ll need to be comfortable working on the shaping of a deal as well as responding to large complex RFP’s.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the formation and setup of the core pursuit team, establishing a framework that drives effective collaboration and ensures the timely sourcing of essential resources and subject matter experts.
  • Lead the development of the initial pursuit strategy and planning, leveraging team expertise to anticipate resource and asset requirements, ensuring seamless execution of the strategy and pursuit plan.
  • Drive the definition and management of key milestones and critical deliverables in close partnership with the pursuit leader and broader deal team, ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely execution.
  • Lead the development and execution of the pursuit project plan, driving adherence to critical deadlines, optimizing meeting and workshop scheduling, and ensuring outcomes are captured, communicated, and leveraged across all key stakeholders.
  • Manage the bid budget, co-ordinate Deal Excellence qualification and review process, prepare for pricing reviews and ensure alignment with pricing strategy,
  • Skillfully navigate the internal process and network to secure key personnel and commitments against key deliverables
  • Demonstrated confidence and effectiveness in engaging senior executives throughout the pursuit process, securing their active participation and commitment to critical milestones and deliverables (e.g., presentation rehearsals, strategy sessions)
  • Advanced project management skills and confidence with the MS suite of productivity tools.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Extensive experience leading large-scale, complex strategic pursuits from inception through execution.
  • Deep expertise and understanding of large-scale execution processes, governance frameworks, and end-to-end delivery steps.
  • Strong analytical skills and a sharp business and financial acumen
  • Over 10 years of experience, preferably within pre-sales functions of leading IT services organizations, driving strategic pursuits and solution development.
  • Strong program management capabilities with a proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams throughout complex bid management processes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively and constantly deliver excellence
  • Drive and meaningfully contribute to solution storyboarding, customer bid defense presentations, and the development of financial models that align with tailored solution proposals.
  • Serve as the primary architect of the solution, leading the development of the scope document, risk profile, and corresponding financial model.
  • Composing applicable services agreements (e.g. Statements of Work, SLA documentation, etc.) that specify processes, technology, staffing, deliverables, commitments, risk, and project management aspects of a solution.
  • Constructing risk assessments and corresponding remediation plans relative to custom solution
