Devops Terraform-L2

Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to work with Application teams and developers to facilitate better coordination amongst operations, development and testing functions by automating and streamlining the integration and deployment processes

Job Summary
 The role involves developing reusable infrastructure-as-code modules, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and supporting deployment automation across integration and production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Automation
Develop Terraform scripts and modules for provisioning cloud-native infrastructure
Automate deployment workflows and integrate with CI/CD pipelines
Support deployment automation improvements and enhancements
Ensure alignment with software development best practices and CI/CD processes
Collaborate with platform and application teams to define infrastructure requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve provisioning issues in integration and production setups
Monitoring and Support
Support monitoring components deployment and update activities
Triage and resolve issues related to infrastructure and monitoring integrations
Ensure observability and compliance across deployed environments
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain documentation for Terraform modules, deployment procedures, and automation workflows
Track and report provisioning metrics, deployment status, and issue resolution
Ensure accurate effort tracking and alignment with project management tools
Required Skills
Hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Shell
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and cloud-native deployment practices
Understanding of monitoring and observability tools integration
Knowledge of security compliance and vulnerability management
Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and documentation skills
Deliverables
Terraform modules and automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning
Deployment automation workflows and CI/CD integrations
Issue resolution documentation and support runbooks
Timely updates in project tracking systems and delivery dashboards
