Role Overview

As an Enterprise Architect L2 at Wipro Technologies, you will be pivotal in shaping and driving the architectural vision and strategy for our Digital Platforms. Your expertise will span across enterprise data platforms, AI capabilities, cloud computing, integration frameworks, and security-driven DevSecOps practices. You will be responsible for ensuring that critical systems and platforms align with long-term strategic goals, delivering scalable, interoperable, and secure technology solutions that underpin business agility and innovation.

In this leadership role, you will bridge business priorities with technology capabilities, guiding architectural frameworks that support data governance, AI ethics, cloud adoption, and containerization strategies. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, including technology executives, engineering leaders, and external partners, to steward the technology roadmap and maintain architectural excellence across multiple domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and continuously refine the enterprise data and AI platform strategy, establishing foundational and reusable services that support business needs and technological advancements.
• Provide authoritative architectural guidance over data architecture and information architecture, ensuring coherence and consistency across canonical and semantic models, metadata management, and master data governance.
• Lead the architectural strategy for cloud platforms with an emphasis on nurturing a strong partnership with AWS and fostering scalable, cloud-native platform adoption.
• Assess emerging technologies within data, AI, cloud, and platform engineering, recommending and integrating solutions that deliver measurable business value.
• Establish governance frameworks for Digital Platforms, incorporating design standards, architectural risk management, and decision assurance to promote compliance, security, and innovation balance.
• Drive architectural leadership in AI lifecycle management, ensuring adherence to ethical standards, scalability, monitoring, and governance around AI deployment.
• Promote integration best practices, including API management, event-driven architecture, and messaging patterns to enable seamless interoperability and reuse.
• Lead development of secure, resilient cloud, container, and engineering platforms incorporating DevSecOps principles, safeguarding software supply chains and automating security controls.
• Engage with vital internal stakeholders such as Directors of Data and AI, Chief Engineers, and Security teams to align architecture and delivery, ensuring the effectiveness of platform capabilities.
• Inspire and mentor senior architects and teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, continuous learning, and innovation.
• Manage strategic relationships with key vendors and partners, influencing product roadmaps and commercial agreements to optimize platform performance and value.

Required Competencies and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess more than 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture with a strong focus on data, AI, cloud, and integration platforms. Demonstrated expertise in architecting large-scale digital platform solutions and leading cross-functional technical teams is essential.

Adeptness at championing change and innovation within complex environments is crucial, alongside a passion for delivering measurable results and fostering client-centric outcomes. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with diverse stakeholders and support business transformation.
