Role Purpose


The purpose of the role is to create exceptional architectural solution design and thought leadership and enable delivery teams to provide exceptional client engagement and satisfaction.

GCP Tech Lead/Architect

 

Description:

•            Work with customer stakeholders to understand functional and technical requirements and translate them into implementable technical specifications.

•            Ability to build tactical and strategic roadmap on GCP platform.

•            Should have strong hands-on experience working in Google Cloud Platform: defining technical solution architecture on GCP, building data engineering pipelines, orchestration workflows etc leveraging GCP services such as Cloud Composer (Airflow), Data Fusion, Cloud Storage, Big Query, Dataproc

•            Experience with migration and modernization of data and ETL workloads to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

•            Collaborate with customer architects/leads to define the migration, validation approach, provide hands-on technical support for remediation and validation of data pipelines as part of the technical upgrades (ex: Cloud Composer (Airflow) and Cloud Data Fusion).

•            Should have strong experience in software development using Python, SQL, Unix Scripting.

•            Assist in establishing and applying GCP best practices for data engineering pipelines and orchestration workflows (Composer, Data Fusion, BigQuery, Dataproc).

•            Provide hands‑on technical guidance and review during remediation, unit testing, integration testing, and PROD deployment.

•            Collaborate with DevOps/Platform teams on CI/CD enablement for DAG/pipeline deployments.

•            Should be able to lead a team of senior and junior developers and responsible for the technical deliverables.

•            Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

•            Trouble shoot, root-cause analysis and performance tuning of GCP Services

•            GCP Professional data engineer certification.
