Job Title:  Manager – Job Family

The Business HR Role is pivotal in driving the success of the organization by aligning human capital strategies with business objectives. Role holder is responsible for partnering with business leaders to create and implement HR initiatives that support the achievement of strategic goals, foster a high-performance culture, and enhance the overall employee experience. The focus will be on understanding the unique needs of the business units supported and developing tailored HR solutions to optimize talent management, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness. Through expertise in HR best practices and  ability to build strong relationships, Business HR will contribute to shaping a workplace environment where employees are empowered to thrive, and the organization is positioned for sustainable growth and success.

Job Purpose: 
This role involves managing and executing projects efficiently, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. If they manage a team, they, provide supervision and direction to a team while also contributing individually to the unit's objectives. They collaborate across functions and drive continuous process improvement. 
Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with SOPs/ policies/ regulations as applicable in scope of work and maintaining strong relationships with internal/ external stakeholders. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Create plans and review implementation within their area of work. 
  2. Guide team members, directly or indirectly working with them 
  3. Resolve issues, conflicts that may arise between stakeholders working with the role holder 
  4. Generate reports and present information to the upper / higher management as prescribed 
  5. Analyse processes to recommend enhancements and implement agreed improvements within timelines 
  6. Work with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish objectives within their span of work 
  7. Support or independently handle budgeting for defined scope of work 
  8. Work on individual tasks related to their sub-unit, and a portion of time may be spent on supervisory duties.
  9. Ensure accountability and management of allocated resources (including any team members have dotted/ direct reporting), in line with set standards and procedures for the team/ function.
  10. Operate independently with minimal supervision, taking decisions based on defined guidelines and practices.
  11. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas for enhancing efficiency.
  12. Assign and delegate tasks to team members to ensure achievement of operational objectives, if applicable.
  13. Set team member goals and conduct appraisals as per organizational norms 
  14. Adhere to people processes that are applicable to their team 
  15. Exhibit full professional competency in their area of work-  using acquired job skills, policies, and procedures to complete moderate scope assignments/projects/tasks.

SME Cloud (GCP) L2/ L3 – 5 to 10 Years

 

Identify access management options and provide recommendations for connectivity to GCP AD/B2C AD from the application.

Strong Understanding of Compute, Network, and Database resources and help with setting up Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.

Document Network and Deployment Architecture and define Infrastructure resources.

Automate the Build and Deployment process of Infrastructure resources using ARM, CLI, Chef, Ansible, Terraform, etc.

Design VPC Connectivity, Network Security Groups, Application Gateway, Web Application Firewall, etc.

Define Security Zones and manage environments in GCP Cloud.

Ensure the architecture aligns with the strategy and meets the requirements i.e., Scalability, Reliability, Security, and Availability, etc.

Implement Monitoring of GCP Cloud Infrastructure resources to ensure high availability and resource performance management

 

Responsibilities :

 

- Cloud Architecture : Develop hybrid cloud reference architecture, Define target state cloud architecture, Experience with private and public cloud architectures, pros/cons, and migration considerations, Microservices architecture and Hybrid cloud integration architecture.

 

- Cloud Deployment : Hybrid Cloud architecture design, integration and security, experience in any of the cloud platforms like - Google Cloud Platform, Cloud Foundry, Open Shift, Docker, etc.

 

- Design deployment architecture for IaaS/SaaS/PaaS that will address our client's business needs and lead teams that will implement them for our clients.

 

- Experience in Virtualization Platforms (e.g. VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.) is good to have.

 

- Experience with workload migration automation tools.

 

- Infrastructure provisioning and management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Chef)

 

- Cloud native logging and monitoring stacks (ELK, EFK, ELE, etc)

 

- Google Cloud architect certified.

 

- DevOps and Agile methodologies, processes and tools.

 

- To analyze the training needs of developers, operational teams within our client organization.

 

- Ability to design and create technical labs, handouts, etc. for topics based on Google and DevOps tools and software's related to DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, etc.)
