HAM Manager JD:

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end asset lifecycle including procurement, allocation, transfer, return, repair, and disposal.
  • Maintain accurate asset inventory and asset management databases.
  • Conduct periodic asset audits, reconciliations, and compliance reviews.
  • Monitor asset utilization and optimize hardware investments.
  • Coordinate with procurement, finance, vendors, and support teams for asset-related activities.
  • Ensure data sanitization and secure disposal of retired assets.
  • Generate MIS reports, dashboards, and asset governance metrics.
  • Drive process improvements and ensure adherence to ITAM policies and standards.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes.
  • Experience with asset management tools and CMDB platforms.
  • Inventory control, audit, compliance, and vendor management expertise.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and reporting skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

 

Experience: 7-12+ years in IT Asset Management, Inventory Management, or IT Operations.

Preferred Certifications:

  • ITIL Foundation
  • IAITAM (CHAMP/CSAM)
  • ISO 19770 Asset Management Knowledge
