Role Purpose

 

  • 6+ years hand-on experience on Cloud – AWS/Azure/GCP
  • Expertise and hands-on experience in architecting and building consumer facing, high performance, scalable & reliable software product / platform on hyperscalar – cloud PaaS services, IAC, automation, multi-cloud/hybrid cloud scenarios
  • 12+ years of design and implementation experience with distributed systems and platforms
  • In-depth technical skills in full-stack implementation, micro-services architecture patterns, reactive architecture patterns, scalable APIs for building end-to-end cloud native software
  • In-depth understanding of DevOps technologies such as Chef, Puppet, Zookeeper etc.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and experience conducting proof-of-concept, developing prototype and reference models for complex cloud-first products and platforms
  • Experiene in re-architecting monolithic products using cloud-native principles
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate, make strategic recommendations to Sr. Mgmt as well as all levels of internal/external service partners

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Define, defend & implement cloud native product architecture, deployment architecture, and design the NFR – scale, resilience, availability on cloud
  • Identify opportunities for new customers – create proactive pitches based on business need and technology
  • Gather business requirement for software-based platforms/products, and convert them into a cloud native architecture, with implementation level details
  • Build POC of cloud-based design ideas and convince internal/external stakeholders
  • Identify and implement optimization strategies for large scale cloud-based software product / platforms
  • Create cloud technology-based offerings for specific customer segments of chosen areas
  • Build end-to-end CI/CD, deployment pipeline for microservices based application for cloud platforms

 

 

Technical skills required:

 

  • Hands on expertise on one or more of the cloud service providers – AWS/Azure/GCP
  • Must have a track record of building and deploying highly available, large scale, high performing multi-tenant SaaS products / platform. Should have at least one Domain Experience – Healthcare or Automotive or Media or Manufacturing.
  • Preferable to have someone from the CTO/CPO organization with strong Industry Connect & Reputation.
  • Knowledge of modern architecture patterns and engineering best practices
  • Must have strong knowledge of failure modes, resiliency patterns, and techniques to enable robust, self-healing architecture
  • Proficiency in FullStack software development – Java/.NET/Python
  • Experience with large Database systems – SQL and NOSQL
  • Familiarity with Java and related frameworks
  • Microservices architecture, implementation and container orchestration, kubernetes, deployment related skills
  • Cloud Automation, CI/CD pipeline for cloud, and Multi-cloud design patterns is a plus


 
Mandatory Skills: AWS Cloud Data Platform Engineering .
