What you'll be doing:
· Designs, plans and coordinates the implementation of network technologies in support of defined requirements generated by business and growth demands
· Validate project requirements, define project scope, develop project schedules and produce detailed designs for assigned projects
· Produce work breakdown structures that demonstrate understanding of proposed changes and how the change will be implemented with minimal service impact
· Performs analysis and diagnosis of highly sophisticated networking problems
· You'll build simulated networks in test labs to resolve highly significant problems and compatibility issues
· Prepare and maintain up to date documentation detailing configuration of deployed solutions. Generates network configurations and run books.
· Plans and drives highly complex network upgrade and migration activity including highly automated environments. This can include quarterly maintenance events involving multiple coordinated changes with diverse stakeholders.
· Provides mentorship and technical leadership for existing network team members & partner teams during outages, downtimes where both technical and business communication skills are vital. appropriate
What we need to see:
· BS.c or equivalent experience
· 8+ years of experience in network engineering support environment
· Experience and expertise in network operations and service optimization in highly available, network infrastructure solutions in a multi-vendor large-scale, multi-site, international environment. Some design experience is also a requirement.
· WAN circuits and protocols (SR-TE, MPLS, DWDM, DMVPN,SD-WAN)
· Dynamic IP Routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP, eBGP/BGP, PIM Multicast)
· Diverse skills in network operating systems such as Cumulus, Cisco IOS, Arista OS, etc.
· Virtualization & Overlay technologies, both networking (VxLAN, BGP-MP, VRFs) and compute (VMware, Kubernetes, Docker) and their various methods for integration.
· High level internetworking problem solving in an enterprise and web scale network environments
· Expertise in collaborating with vendors to run circuit delivery, problem solving and migrations
· CCIE or equivalent certifications are a plus

| Triaging and resolution of tickets | Provide resolution to high priority incident (P2) tickets, performing advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to ensure timely closure. |
| SLA Monitoring | Ensure SLA compliance for assigned technology areas and ensure proactive escalation management. |

| Performance tuning and optimization | Analyse system performance data, coordinate findings on system behaviour, and support capacity planning initiatives to enhance overall system efficiency. |
| Perform system Improvements | Create mitigation measures to evaluate new tools or improvements by collaborating with technical teams. |
| Handling disaster recovery | Perform security assessments and recovery drills, and implement necessary controls to ensure compliance with established security standards. |
| Reporting and stakeholder engagement | Participate in weekly and monthly service review meetings, provide updates on performance and issues, and support stakeholder communication to ensure transparency and service alignment. |

| Knowledge base and continuous learning | Contribute to updating SOPs, knowledge articles and maintaining the knowledge repository for the purpose of future ticket resolution. |
