Overview: The Network Engineer L3 will be responsible for managing and maintaining the production network environment of a large heterogeneous enterprise network infrastructure. This role requires handling data center network operations with business and mission-critical applications, diagnosing issues, resolving problems, and participating in major changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Operations:
- Handle data center network operations with business and mission-critical applications.
- Work in 24/7 shifts.
- Manage escalated incidents or high-critical tickets.
- Analyze risk/impact and participate in major changes.
- Diagnose issues, resolve problems, identify incident patterns, and drive for problem resolution.
- Follow ITIL processes including incident, change, and problem management lifecycle.
- Network Installation and Troubleshooting:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, and DHCP enterprise network infrastructure.
- Expert experience in troubleshooting dynamic and static routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, HSRP, VRRP.
- Expertise in switching technology with LAN and data center networking (Gigabit Ethernet, L2/L3 Switching, VLANs, STP, VTP, etc.).
- Provide DNS/DHCP/NTP operational support.
- Utilize scripting (Python) and network automation skills.
- Awareness and experience with monitoring and management tools like SolarWinds and Moogsoft.
Requirements:
Must Have:
- 8-10 years of core enterprise network experience.
- Proficiency in Cisco routing and switching on access, core, and distribution layers.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with wireless technologies (Cisco/Aruba).
- CCNP Certification.
- Experience in handling a team of 10 members.
Add-On Skills:
- SDWAN skills and Aruba wireless skills.
- L1 firewall skills (Palo-Alto).
- ITIL v3/v4 Foundation certification.

- Ensure that organizational programs like Performance Nxt are well understood and that the team is taking the opportunities presented by such programs to their and their levels below

- Track team satisfaction scores and identify initiatives to build engagement within the team
