Role Overview

As a Robotics Lead at Wipro Innovation Network (WIN) Labs, you will spearhead the development and expansion of our Embodied AI (Robotics) Practice, a critical pillar of our technology innovation efforts. This leadership position demands a visionary approach to integrating artificial intelligence with physical systems such as robotics, sensors, and advanced simulation platforms. You will own the end-to-end practice strategy, from ideating new technology directions to implementing impactful solutions that transform businesses across various industries.

In this role, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, researchers, and business strategists, fostering a culture of creativity, technical excellence, and customer focus. Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a compelling vision and roadmap for the Embodied AI practice that aligns with Wipro’s strategic priorities and market trends.
• Identify high-value opportunities for innovation and business growth, prioritizing projects that deliver measurable benefits to clients.
• Lead the design and deployment of advanced simulation pipelines, including digital twins and real-world co-training of AI and robotic systems.
• Engage deeply with clients to uncover automation and collaborative robot (co-bot) use cases, tailoring solutions to meet diverse industry needs such as manufacturing, logistics, and smart facilities management.
• Support go-to-market strategies by showcasing innovative demos, managing proof-of-value initiatives, and contributing to strategic customer relationships.
• Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing multidisciplinary team with expertise in AI, robotics, and simulation technologies, nurturing a collaborative and inclusive environment.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), research entities, and hyperscale cloud providers to accelerate innovation.

Skills & Experience

• Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks, robotic operating systems (ROS2), and simulation platforms such as Isaac Sim, Gazebo, and Unity ML-Agents.
• Demonstrated leadership in driving robotics or physical automation initiatives from concept through delivery.
• Exceptional strategic thinking abilities to balance experimental innovation with dependable solution delivery.
• Proven track record engaging with clients and stakeholders to develop solutions that generate tangible business value and sustained growth.
• Strong communication skills, capable of effectively storytelling complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and managing cross-functional collaborations.

Preferred Background

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in consulting, product innovation, or leading enterprise AI implementations is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with industry trends and emerging technologies in robotics and automation sectors.
