Seeking a Management Trainee for COE in Wipro. BEFM Risk is responsible for developing and employing adequate and effective risk management processes to identify, assess and monitor risks that may have an adverse impact on BEFM and its funds and SMAs
Responsibilities

In this role, the Management Trainee will be an integral member of the BEFM Risk team ensuring effective risk assessment, adequate oversight, and comprehensive reports to senior management and governing bodies. The Management Trainee will be expected to deliver best-in-class materials, manage task allocation within the COE team, become a key expert in private equity or hedge funds/fund of funds. The MT may also be involved in specific risk projects and is expected to participate in the ongoing enhancement of the risk management function.

Key responsibilities will include, amongst others:

Risk Management
Support in the funds, SMAs and BEFM risk management duties and tasks, including:
¡    Serve as the key COE team expert in either private equity or hedge funds/fund of funds
¡    Conduct detailed reviews of all deliverables within the assigned strategy to ensure best in class outputs, providing accurate, timely, and robust risk analyses to the BEFM Luxembourg risk team.
¡    Collaborate closely with BEFM Luxembourg risk team on a dedicated strategy (either private equity or hedge funds/fund of funds), proactively providing updates on deliverables, ensuring proper prioritization, and promptly escalating any blocking issues
¡    Work closely with other senior risk members in the COE to ensure consistency across transversal processes
¡    Oversee and manage task allocation for one strategy within the COE team.
¡    Support BEFM Risk in documenting all risk processes, procedures, policies, and risk profiles
¡    Assist the BEFM Luxembourg risk team in preparing risk management related presentations for the management committee and Boards regarding funds managed by BEFM.

Qualifications and Experience:
¡    University degree in Finance, Economics, FRM, or similar discipline
¡    0 to 1 years’ experience in the investment fund industry with a strong focus on alternative investments and/or risk management
¡    Broad understanding of the different alternative asset classes and instruments
¡    Ability to work effectively in cross-functional collaborations
¡    Fluent in English, both written and oral, and any other language will be considered as an asset
¡    Excellent communication skills
¡    Team player with resourceful mindset and efficiency-driven
¡    Ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments and strong time management skills
¡    Great attention to details and accountability for delivery, highly organized
¡    Ability to act autonomously and know when to escalate matters when appropriate
