Job Description: Manager - Wipro, Global Security Command Centre (GSCC)

Job Location: Bangalore, Karnataka

 

Job Summary

Wipro’s Global Security Group (GSG) is seeking a competent security professional to work as manager - operations for its Global Security Command Centre (GSCC).

This position is a fully work from office (WFO) role and is based in Bangalore, Karnataka.

͏Roles and Responsibilities

  • The GSCC functions 24X7X365 days a year. The manager concerned will oversee and manage GSCC’s operations and its team.
  • Manage, coordinate, refine and execute GSCC’s security operations.
  • Technical soundness and at least a basic knowledge of AI is vital for this position.
  • Oversee and manage the GSCC’s operations team while they act on employees’ service/security/safety-related calls/emails, ensuring a successful resolution and closure of the same.
  • Ensure effective delivery and continued oversight of physical security systems, including CCTVs and alarms. Knowledge of Viewscape and Milestone applications is preferred.
  • Oversee and manage the GSCC’s operations team while they monitor the command centre’s systems and applications for their functionality, status and conduct assessments.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the location security teams/security operation centres for an unimpeded functioning of security operations.
  • Work with senior leadership, location security leads, crisis management units and other internal stakeholders and external partners on varied security/safety related tasks/incidents.
  • Assist the geopolitical, security risks and analysis team as and when required.
  • Work with third party external vendors and internal stakeholders for multiple administrative tasks.
  • Handle other tasks/projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience Required͏

  • Must be a graduate/post-graduate with strong technical competence and at least a basic knowledge of AI.
  • Minimum 10 years of proven relevant experience in security/command centre operations.
  • Excellent communication (spoken and written) skills.
  • Expertise in MS Office 365.
  • Proven experience of team leadership and management.
