Key Responsibilities:
- Validate business requirements, data specifications, and technical documentation, providing strategic feedback to drive continual improvement and innovation in data delivery.
- Provide the development, implementation, and continual improvement of data visualization and reporting processes, transitioning from manual reporting to automated, Power BI and Microsoft Fabric-driven solutions.
- Support the integration and management of data sources, leveraging Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to automate data extraction, transformation, loading and visualization in support of business initiatives.
- Collaborate with lead operational data architects and data analysts to proactively identify data-related challenges and deliver adaptive, technology-driven and innovative solutions to business pain points.
- This role covers end-to-end data engineering, semantic modeling, and reporting delivery in a production-scale environment
- Design and implement Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse architecture using Bronze/Silver/Gold (medallion) patterns
- Build and orchestrate pipelines using Fabric Data Factory
- Model optimized star schemas and design Power BI semantic models
- Apply data quality checks, governance standards, and documentation/runbooks
- Configure Row-Level Security (RLS) and enterprise security controls
- Manage monitoring, alerting, and reliability of production workloads
- Support Dev/Test/Prod deployments using Fabric Workspaces and Deployment Pipelines
