Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer with strong experience in Python and Squish GUI automation. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for GUI applications. The role requires strong scripting skills, hands-on experience in test automation, and the ability to work closely with development and QA teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain GUI automation test scripts using Squish with Python.

  • Design and enhance automation frameworks for desktop or embedded applications.

  • Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects.

  • Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to understand application functionality and testing requirements.

  • Debug automation scripts and application issues.

  • Ensure test coverage for critical GUI workflows.

  • Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines where applicable.

  • Participate in test planning, test case design, and code reviews.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python scripting.

  • Experience with Squish GUI Automation Tool.

  • Experience in GUI automation testing for desktop or embedded applications.

  • Understanding of automation framework design and test architecture.

  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.

  • Strong debugging and analytical skills.
