SAP SuccessFactors ECP Consultant

Role Overview
The DTCEC SAP SuccessFactors ECP Consultant / Analyst provides advanced functional expertise in Employee Central Payroll (ECP) to ensure payroll accuracy, statutory compliance, and robust system configuration within a large, regulated banking environment. The role supports end to end payroll delivery across implementation and BAU phases, working closely with HR, Payroll, Integration, and Testing teams.
Experience & Background

12+ years of experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
Strong expertise in payroll processing, statutory compliance, and complex payroll scenarios
Experience working in banking or highly regulated enterprise environments
Exposure to end to end implementations, parallel payroll runs, and production support

Key Responsibilities

Provide advanced functional leadership for SuccessFactors ECP configuration and solution design
Validate and optimise payroll schemas, wage types, rules, and retro processing
Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with statutory and audit requirements
Support end to end payroll cycles, including parallel runs, reconciliations, and variance analysis
Work closely with integration teams to support EC–ECP data flows and resolve payroll related integration issues
Support defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution for complex payroll defects
Provide expert support during UAT, regression testing, and release readiness activities
Contribute to functional documentation, configuration records, and operational handover artefacts
Support production issues and continuous improvement initiatives across payroll processes

Functional & Professional Skills

Deep understanding of ECP payroll configuration and processing
Strong analytical skills for payroll validation and issue resolution
Ability to interpret complex payroll and compliance requirements
Strong collaboration skills across HR, Payroll, IT, and vendor teams
High attention to detail and commitment to quality and data integrity
