SAP Successfactor Compensation & Variable

Role Overview
The SAP SuccessFactors Compensation Consultant will support large-scale HR transformation initiatives within a Tier 1 banking environment.

The role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting Compensation and Variable Pay solutions aligned to banking governance, risk, compliance, and reward frameworks. The consultant will work closely with HR, Reward, Risk, and Technology stakeholders to deliver compliant, scalable, and audit ready solutions.
Experience & Qualifications

SAP SuccessFactors Certified Consultant in Compensation and Variable Pay
10+ years of SuccessFactors experience within large enterprise or banking environments
Minimum 2 end to end implementations of Compensation / Variable Pay modules
Strong understanding of banking reward structures, incentive models, and performance linked pay
Experience working in regulated environments with strong governance and controls

Key Responsibilities

Lead end to end implementation of SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay within a banking context, covering design, build, test, and deployment
Engage with HR and Reward stakeholders to gather requirements and perform fit gap analysis against standard SuccessFactors capabilities
Design and configure compensation solutions aligned to:

Fixed and variable pay structures
Bonus and incentive plans
Eligibility, proration, and guideline rules
Budget control and approval workflows


Ensure solutions align with banking compliance, risk, and audit requirements
Configure business rules to support compensation calculations, validations, and approvals
Design and manage role-based permissions (RBP) and segregation of duties in line with bank security standards
Support integration with Employee Central, reporting, and downstream payroll systems
Prepare functional design documentation, test strategies, and execution aligned to ANZ delivery standards
Support UAT with business users, ensuring traceability from requirements to test outcomes
Provide go-live and hypercare support, ensuring production stability and compliance
Work collaboratively with multi-vendor teams and internal ANZ technology partners

Functional & Technical Expertise

Hands-on configuration of Compensation and Variable Pay worksheets
Strong experience in SuccessFactors Business Rules Framework
Experience managing bank-grade security, approvals, and controls
Exposure to reporting, reconciliation, and validation of compensation outcomes
Experience working across multiple release cycles and parallel initiatives

Banking & Consulting Capabilities

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex reward policies
Proven experience delivering HR technology solutions in large, matrixed banking organisations
Ability to communicate effectively with senior HR, Reward, and Risk stakeholders
Experience working under strict timelines, governance checkpoints, and quality gates
