Job Description: 

SDET Architect

Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in computer engineering or related field with proven working experience in Test Engineering, or equivalent role with at least 12+ years of relevant experience in large organizations

· Collaborating with stakeholders to understand current technologies, frameworks, tools & gather requirements, understand their specific test automation needs for different business areas.

· Have been experience in transforming Automation across enterprise

· Strong Hands-on coding experience in Java (and preferably C#, Python, JavaScripts).

· Expertise in Selenium Automation

· Expertise in Automation framework across various technologies ( Selenium/Appium and/or Cypress and/or Playwright and/or C#)

· Experience in Microservices + monolith backend systems. Should have both manual and automation testing knowledge.

· Should have worked in either RestAssured/Karate based framework and Message Queues.

· Should have worked with SQL Queries and database validations

· Expertise in test automation principles, methodologies, and best practices.

· Designing and implementing a test automation strategy that aligns with the Customer’s business objectives and IT infrastructure.

· Defining and implementing test automation frameworks, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency across different projects and teams.

· Have been experience in transforming Automation across enterprise.

· Knowledge of functional testing & test strategy preparation

· Preferred knowledge in ETL Transformation validation

· Preferred knowledge of Unix/Linux commands.

· Identifying and prioritizing test automation opportunities, such as regression testing, integration testing, to maximize the benefits of automation.

· Collaborating with other Business IT teams to achieve high test automation penetration.

· Building business case on chosen automation frameworks

· Building ROI for automation tools/framework chosen

· Developing and maintaining test automation scripts, test cases, and test data sets to support efficient and effective automated testing.

· Providing guidance and support to different teams on utilizing test automation tools and frameworks effectively.

· Continuously monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the test automation strategy, making improvements as needed to optimize testing processes and outcomes
