Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to ensure excellent customer service delivery of all technology solutions and products to clients, through effective project management, service metrics tracking, budget management, issue resolution, optimal resource allocation, and maintenance of a skilled team of all delivery resources for the client.

The Principal Software Engineer is a senior technical leader responsible for designing, building, and evolving composable storefront platforms across multiple brands and regions. This role drives the frontend architecture using React, Salesforce PWA Kit, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), ensuring scalability, performance, and reuse across enterprise ecommerce ecosystems. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Architecture & Platform Leadership 

  • Define and evolve multi-brand, multi-region composable storefront architecture 

  • Design and implement reusable:  

  • Frontend component libraries 

  • Shared services and integration layers 

  • Reference architectures and design patterns 

  • Establish enterprise frontend standards for React and PWA Kit-based solutions 

  • Drive platform reuse, scalability, and modernization initiatives 

Required Qualifications 

  • 8–12+ years of experience in software engineering with strong architectural exposure 

  • Expertise in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development 

  • Hands-on experience with:  

  • Salesforce PWA Kit 

  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud integrations 

  • Headless/composable architectures 

  • Strong understanding of:  

  • SSR, hydration, caching strategies 

  • Frontend performance tuning and optimization 

  • Experience building reusable frontend platforms and component systems 

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices 

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
