Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end architecture of a next-generation platform for aviation products, leveraging AI and modern cloud-native technologies.
  • Drive technology choices and architectural decisions, prioritizing scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and data science to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Integrate GenAI capabilities to enhance platform intelligence, automation, and user experience.
  • Champion technology agnostic approaches, evaluating and recommending best-fit solutions across diverse tech stacks.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements within the aviation sector.
  • Mentor and guide junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Ensure architectural compliance with aviation industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in platform architecture, with a focus on designing complex, distributed systems.
  • Strong exposure to Generative AI concepts, frameworks, and practical implementations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple technologies, frameworks, and cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in the aviation domain (products, platforms, or operations) is a significant advantage.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing technical teams.
  • Deep understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements in aviation or similar industries.

 Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with GenAI tools, APIs, and integration strategies.
  • Knowledge of aviation data standards and protocols.
  • Experience with microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Ability to balance innovation with pragmatic delivery in highly regulated environments.

Area of Responsibility

Requirement Analysis-Collaborate with business leaders and technical teams to define solution strategies that align with enterprise IT roadmap, security, and risk management requirements, ensuring implementation feasibility across multiple systems.

Designing-Create design frameworks for enterprise systems, review implementation across applications, and assist in creating reusable patterns and governance processes to ensure proper integration and risk control.

Integration assessment and support-Define integration framework, manage infrastructure dependencies, and create strategies for secure and efficient integration across enterprise systems.

Troubleshooting-Assess the solution in the client environment and address any issues identified during the troubleshooting process through appropriate remediation steps.

Risk Analysis and Assessment-Identify potential risks, potential impact and define governance processes for risk management and compliance across enterprise solutions and review its adherence.

RFPs-"Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to contribute to proposals by providing inputs on the interoperability of multiple applications within an enterprise system, identification of change areas, and integration approaches aligned with business needs."
