Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Amazon Connect Specialist with around 12 to 15 yrs of exp. who designs, builds, and maintains cloud-based contact center solutions, typically experience with AWS services, specifically Amazon Connect, Lambda, Lex, and telephony integration. Key responsibilities include creating IVR flows, integrating CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and using Python/Node.js for serverless, real-time voice/chat

Key Responsibilities
- Contact Flow Design: Developing and optimizing IVR, queue management, call routing, and callback workflows using Amazon Connect.
- Serverless Integration: Building, deploying, and maintaining AWS Lambda functions to support dynamic routing, data lookups, and API integrations.
- AI/Lex Development: Creating and enhancing chatbot interactions using Amazon Lex for conversational AI.
- CRM Integration: Connecting Amazon Connect with CRM systems like Salesforce Service Cloud/Voice, including screen pops and call logging.
- Architecture & Security: Designing secure, scalable, and compliant contact center infrastructure.
- DevOps: Utilizing CI/CD, Git, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for deployment.

Required Skills & Experience
- AWS Expertise: 3+ years hands-on experience with Amazon Connect, Lex, Polly, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, and Kinesis.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Java for automation and Lambda development.
- Telephony Experience: Understanding of VoIP, SIP, and contact center technologies (e.g., Genesys, Avaya).
- Data Handling: Experience with SQL, REST APIs, and JSON.
- Tools: Familiarity with AWS Connect Agent Workspace, Amazon Connect Streams API, and EventBridge.
Soft Skills: (This is also required as role is client facing and many meetings back with at different levels.)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
