Role Purpose and Overview

Bringing expert knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and AI technologies, the role involves close collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders to define architecture that supports the evolving needs of our global clients. This position reports into the Technology Services unit, operating within the TS - Applied AI & Data service line, and contributes to the ongoing enhancement of Wipro's digital transformation objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide integration strategies that prioritize security and infrastructure compatibility.
• Design and propose comprehensive solution frameworks, leveraging GCP Cloud PaaS and advanced cloud services to meet client requirements.
• Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to identify and manage infrastructure dependencies, facilitating smooth project deployment and scaling.
• Support delivery teams by ensuring implementation strategies comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Engage with clients to understand business goals, translating them into robust technical architectures that drive value and competitive advantage.

This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on technical expertise, ensuring the successful integration of innovative AI and data technologies in complex enterprise ecosystems.

Function Overview

The Google Cloud AI practice is embedded within the Applied AI & Data Service Line at Wipro, functioning as a core engine for the go-to-market and delivery enablement of Google’s Data & AI portfolio. The practice stands at the intersection of technology innovation, sales strategy, and solution delivery, empowering enterprises to harness Google’s cutting-edge AI capabilities effectively.

This dynamic team translates evolving AI technologies such as Gemini Enterprise and Vertex AI into compelling commercial propositions, technical demonstrations, and operational solutions tailored for diverse enterprise requirements. It maintains a strategic partnership with Google Cloud, acting as a central center of expertise across business units to support client engagements involving AI solutions.

Purpose of this Role

The Solution Architect L2 leads go-to-market initiatives and oversees a collaborative team responsible for presales solution development and demonstrations. This role serves as the nexus between sales, presales, account executives, Google partner teams, and internal leadership, ensuring alignment and streamlined execution of AI portfolio strategies.

Key Accountabilities:

• Own and implement GTM strategies for the GCP AI offerings, aligning product roadmaps with market demands.
• Develop and sustain a robust pipeline of Google Cloud AI opportunities alongside sales teams, ensuring consistent tracking and reporting of performance metrics.
• Create evolving narratives and positioning for AI solutions to respond effectively to product updates and emerging market trends.
• Direct presales activities including discovery, solution tailoring, proposal creation, and RFP management.
• Lead technical teams in developing innovative proofs of concept and reusable sales accelerators to enhance client engagement speed and quality.
• Serve as a pivotal communication link, maintaining regular updates, partner relationship health, and leadership alignment through structured interactions.

Essential Skills and Experience

• 10 to 15 years of professional experience with demonstrated expertise in GTM strategy and operational leadership within technology or AI-focused environments, preferably in systems integration, consulting, or technology partnerships.
• Extensive presales experience encompassing customer discovery, solution architecture, proposal development, and responding to RFPs/RFIs in enterprise technology or AI contexts.
• Technical fluency in Google Cloud AI services including Gemini Enterprise, Vertex AI (Agentic Platform with orchestration and agent development capabilities), Contact Center AI, and foundational GCP services like BigQuery and AutoML.
• Proven capacity to lead and mentor small technical teams by blending GTM strategy with technical solution development.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, ensuring effective engagement with sales, presales, account executives, partners, and senior leadership across diverse organizational layers.
• Experience operating within and nurturing strategic technology partnerships, such as those with Google Cloud, AWS, or Microsoft, is highly advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Cloud certifications pertinent to AI and Generative AI technologies, such as Generative AI Leader or Digital Leader certifications.
• Prior leadership roles in GTM strategy and practice development within IT services or consulting firms.
• Track record of developing scalable GTM assets, accelerators, and enablement programs that enhance sales effectiveness.
• Understanding of responsible AI principles, including governance, ethical deployment, and compliance considerations relevant to enterprise AI solutions.
