Key responsibilities:
· Provide AutoRek application development and production support in a fast-paced, business-facing environment.
- Investigate, analyse, and resolve client incidents and system issues within agreed timelines.
- Work closely with clients, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather, understand, and refine requirements.
- Participate in client meetings, workshops, and solution discussions.
- Design and document functional and technical solutions from high-level business requirements.
- Build, maintain, and optimize reconciliation solutions within the AutoRek platform.
- Develop and support complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, and database objects.
- Perform data analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation across large and complex databases.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, process flows, and solution designs.
- Develop and support SSRS reports and reporting solutions where required.
- Follow software development best practices including governance, configuration management, and release processes.
- Collaborate with development, testing, and support teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high-quality, customer-focused service.
- Ensure reconciliations and deliverables are completed accurately, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Skills
- AutoRek Application Development & Support – Incident management, reconciliation solutions, production support, and customer-focused service delivery.
- SQL Server Expertise – Advanced SQL scripting, stored procedures, functions, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and large database management.
- Requirements Analysis & Solution Design – Requirements gathering, solution design, technical documentation, and problem-solving.
- Microsoft & Reporting Tools – SSMS, Visual Studio, SSRS/Report Builder, Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Software Development & Governance – SDLC, release management, configuration control, GitHub, and JIRA.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management – Client interaction, workshop facilitation, collaboration, and visual presentation of technical solutions.
- Self-Management & Delivery Focus – Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
