Key Responsibilities

1) CI/CD Pipeline Design & Implementation

  • Design, build, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for: 
    • SAP IS developments (ABAP, SAP UI5/Fiori, configuration transports)
    • MuleSoft applications (APIs, integrations, shared assets)
  • Implement pipelines covering: 
    • Source control, build, unit testing
    • Automated deployments across DEV / TEST / UAT / PROD
    • Release orchestration and approvals
  • Enable environment‑specific configurations, secure variable handling, and artifact versioning.

2) SF is DevOps Enablement

  • Integrate SAP IS landscapes into Azure DevOps CI/CD workflows, including: 
    • Transport management automation
    • Build and deployment orchestration aligned to SAP release cycles
  • Collaborate with SAP teams to: 
    • Reduce manual transport activities
    • Improve release predictability and rollback capability
  • Support SAP‑specific quality gates and validation steps.

3) Integration Delivery

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft applications using: 
    • Automated build, packaging, and deployment processes
    • Environment promotion strategies
  • Support API lifecycle management, versioning, and controlled releases.
  • Ensure MuleSoft deployments align with enterprise integration standards and security policies.

4) Infrastructure as Code & Environment Management

  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) where applicable to support pipeline execution and platform consistency.
  • Manage pipeline templates and reusable components to drive standardization.
  • Ensure environments are consistently configured and auditable.

5) Security, Quality & Compliance

  • Embed DevSecOps practices into CI/CD pipelines, including: 
    • Secure credential management
    • Static code analysis and quality checks
    • Segregation of duties and approval workflows
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise and regulatory requirements (e.g., audit trails, release approvals).

6) Monitoring, Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor pipeline performance, failures, and deployment metrics.
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to: 
    • Reduce deployment times
    • Increase release reliability
  • Provide operational support for CI/CD tooling and pipelines.

Do

  • Align and focus on continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) of technology in applications 
    • Plan and Execute the DevOps pipeline that supports the application life cycle across the DevOps toolchain — from planning, coding and building, testing, staging, release, configuration and monitoring
    • Manage the IT infrastructure as per the requirement of the supported software code
    • On-board an application on the DevOps tool and configure it as per the clients need
    • Create user access workflows and provide user access as per the defined process
    • Build and engineer the DevOps tool as per the customization suggested by the client 
    • Collaborate with development staff to tackle the coding and scripting needed to connect elements of the code that are required to run the software release with operating systems and production infrastructure
    • Leverage and use tools to automate testing & deployment in a Dev-Ops environment
  • Provide customer support/ service on the DevOps tools 
    • Timely support internal & external customers on multiple platforms
    • Resolution of the tickets raised on these tools to be addressed & resolved within a specified TAT
    • Ensure adequate resolution with customer satisfaction
    • Follow escalation matrix/ process as soon as a resolution gets complicated or isn’t resolved
    • Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of critical/ repeatable issues
