Role Overview:
The Salesforce Healthcare Competency Lead will define and drive the strategic vision for Salesforce capabilities within the HLS vertical while driving the strategic vision and managing the day-to-day operations of a dedicated Center of Excellence (CoE). This role combines delivery leadership with deep expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud within Health Institutes, ensuring optimal utilization of the platform to streamline business processes, enhance customer experiences, and drive key performance indicators across sales, service, and Health and life sciences functions by leading a team of Salesforce administrators, developers, and business analysts. This role will lead the development of industry-specific solutions, build a high-performing Center of Excellence (CoE), and enable digital transformation for healthcare providers, payers, pharma, and med-tech organizations. The position demands strong domain expertise and a passion for leveraging Salesforce Health Cloud and related technologies to deliver measurable business outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the vision and roadmap for the HLS CoE, aligning with business objectives and industry trends.
- Develop and lead the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Salesforce HLS offerings.
- Establish governance standards and best practices for Salesforce adoption.
- Identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce for new business initiatives and enhanced customer engagement.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare and life sciences domain.
- Salesforce certifications: Admin, Sales, Service, Health Cloud Specialist Superbadge, Health Cloud AP, OmniStudio Consultant, OmniStudio Developer.
- Deep expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud features (Patient 360, Care Plans, Care Coordination, Health Timeline, Analytics for Healthcare, MuleSoft Direct, Tableau Accelerators).
- Proven track record in Salesforce implementation, customization, and configuration.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry practices and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR).
- Experience in data analysis and reporting for Salesforce performance.
