Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in:
    • Chemistry / Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Laboratory Sciences
    • Computer Science / Information Systems (with lab domain experience)

 

Experience

  • 8–12+ years of experience in multiple LIMS implementations
  • Minimum 5+ years specifically in SampleManager LIMS Development or Support.
  • Proven experience in large-scale LIMS implementations (multi-lab / regulator-level preferred)

 

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience of LIMS platform:
    • Thermo SampleManager LIMS
  • Experience in:
    • Workflow Creation/configuration
    • Sample lifecycle  Customizations
    • Instrument Integration
    • C# and VGL Customizations
    • REST API/Web Interfaces configurations
    • Forms Design
    • Report Designer
    • SQL Knowledge
    • Data migration and validation
    • LIMS Installation/Configuration with AWS/Azure platforms

 

Domain Expertise

  • Deep understanding of:
    • Sample lifecycle processes
    • Laboratory operations and workflows
    • Chain of custody and traceability principles
  • Familiarity with:
    • Environmental, chemical, or oil & gas lab operations
    • Multi-site lab environments / regulatory labs

 

Compliance Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of:
    • ISO 17025
    • GxP (GLP/GMP as applicable)
    • Data integrity frameworks (ALCOA+)

 

Soft Skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical configurations
  • Analytical problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience working in cross-functional and global team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to the Oil and Gas Lab Projects LIMS Implementations
  • Exposure to instrument integration frameworks (API/Integration Manager)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) for LIMS deployment
  • Certification in relevant LIMS platform
