Job Description

Wipro Consulting is seeking a Senior Manager with deep domain expertise in Industrial Assets to join the Energy, Manufacturing & Resources (EMR) practice. In this role, you will serve as a trusted C-suite advisor to leading energy and industrial clients, shaping the strategic agenda for asset-intensive operations — spanning asset integrity management, reliability engineering, maintenance optimization, and the digital and operating-model transformation of the asset base. You will translate enterprise strategy into executable transformation roadmaps that unlock measurable value across throughput, cost, capital efficiency, and reliability.

You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact, value-led engagements for global clients across the oil and gas, petrochemicals, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate combines strong consulting and commercial acumen with hands-on experience in industrial asset management, leveraging AI, GenAI, IoT, and advanced analytics to reinvent how clients operate and extract value from their assets — from opportunity identification through execution and scale.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Consulting and Client Engagement

-Lead strategic consulting engagements that reshape industrial asset management, asset integrity, reliability, and maintenance strategy — defining value-led transformation scenarios across asset strategy, operating model, and digital capabilities for energy and industrial clients.
-Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders (VP and C-suite level), framing the strategic agenda and delivering recommendations that drive measurable business outcomes across value, EBITDA, and capital efficiency.
-Develop and present compelling proposals, Points of View (PoVs), and value-led solution frameworks that shape client demand, originate pipeline, and win new engagements.
-Build and deepen long-term, C-suite-level relationships with major energy companies, driving pipeline origination, repeat business, and sustained account growth.

Domain Expertise & Solution Delivery

-Bring deep subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas:
a)Asset Integrity Management (AIM) and Risk-Based Inspection (RBI)
b)Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Predictive Maintenance strategies
c)Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems such as SAP PM, IBM Maximo, or Oracle EAM
d)Corrosion management, mechanical integrity, and fitness-for-service assessments
e)Capital project advisory and turnaround planning for industrial facilities
-Design and implement Target Operating Models (TOMs) for asset management functions — underpinned by clear value trees and decision frameworks — ensuring alignment with industry standards (ISO 55000, API, ASME).
-Lead digital transformation initiatives — defining the digital North Star and roadmap and leveraging IoT, AI/ML, GenAI, digital twins, and advanced analytics to optimize asset lifecycle performance and value.

͏

Delivery Excellence & Project Leadership

-Manage end-to-end delivery of consulting engagements with disciplined margin and P&L control, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes.
-Oversee project governance, risk mitigation, and executive stakeholder communication across multi-shore delivery teams.
-Drive continuous improvement in delivery, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and a Management Operating System (MOS) to embed performance management and accountability.

Delivery Excellence & Project Leadership

-Drive the growth of the EMR Industrial Assets consulting practice through solution development, capability building, market positioning, and pipeline origination.
-Develop and publish whitepapers, case studies, and industry insights on industrial asset management trends and digital innovation.
-Represent Wipro Consulting at industry forums, conferences, and analyst briefings.
-Mentor, develop, and scale consulting talent, fostering a culture of domain excellence, ownership, and continuous learning

Long Description

Required Qualifications

-12–18 years of overall experience, with at least 5–7 years in consulting or advisory roles focused on industrial assets and asset-intensive transformation within the energy, oil and gas, or process industries.
-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or related discipline). MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.
-Proven track record of leading and delivering strategic consulting engagements in asset integrity, reliability engineering, maintenance and operating-model transformation, or industrial operations.
