Role: ServiceNow developer and administrator
Job Description
The role would be for configuring and setting up Service-now ITSM application and maintain and support the implementation. This person will work very closely with ITSM Process Architect, customer personnel, Business Analyst(s), IT Architect, IT support teams and other technical teams to ensure that business needs around implementation of ITSM processes and ServiceNow in a controlled and predictive manner.
The general scope of the work for this position is as follows:
• Understands technical and functional design requirements for ServiceNow
• Understands the workflow engines
• Creates workflow and web prototypes for client engagements
• Designs, codes, and tests technical solutions for ServiceNow implementations
• Uses Mid server, webservices, email and other relevant technology to integrate tools with ServiceNow.
• Administer and troubleshoot the deployed instance of ServiceNow.
Qualifications
1. Education in IT is preferred
2. The candidate should be trained in ITILv4 foundation certified
3. Service-now trained with prior experience in implementation/support of ServiceNow.
4. Should have 5+ years of experience managing ServiceNow
5. Experience with JavaScript, XML and XSL stylesheets
6. Should have prior experience in integrating tools in ServiceNow or other similar tools using MidServer, webservices, emails.
7. Will to work in a collaborative manner with clients and team, abiding to critical timelines and deliverables

3.Competency Building and Branding
- Ensure completion of necessary trainings and certifications
- Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs),case studies, demos etc. for new growth areas based on market and customer research
- Develop and present a point of view of Wipro on solution design and architect by writing white papers, blogs etc.
- Attain market referencability and recognition through highest analyst rankings, client testimonials and partner credits
- Be the voice of Wipro’s Thought Leadership by speaking in forums (internal and external)
- Mentor developers, designers and Junior architects in the project for their further career development and enhancement
- Contribute to the architecture practice by conducting selection interviews etc
