As a Snowflake Data Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture, development, and operational excellence of Snowflake data platforms. You will drive collaboration across business and technical teams to deliver high-impact data solutions that enhance data accessibility, agility, and actionable insights.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of Snowflake data architectures tailored to solve complex data ingestion, transformation, and analytics requirements.
• Build and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Snowflake, and Python, with attention to data quality and systemic robustness.
• Implement efficient data processing logic using Snowpark and Python, leveraging code modularity and maintainability best practices.
• Utilize Databricks for specialized data transformations and advanced analytics to support emerging data science and machine learning initiatives.
• Harness the capabilities of AI Copilots to accelerate coding tasks, debugging efforts, and pipeline optimizations, driving productivity and reducing time to delivery.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to align data platform capabilities with machine learning use cases and large-scale analytics needs.
• Monitor and tune data platform performance to balance cost-effectiveness with high availability and responsiveness.
• Champion implementation of version control with GitLab, enforce CI/CD pipeline integration, and ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies.

Required Skills:

• Advanced experience with Snowflake data warehousing solutions, including Snowpark for custom data processing flows.
• Extensive proficiency in Python programming, aimed at data integration, automation, and orchestration.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), designing complex data pipelines.
• Demonstrated skills in SQL for complex data transformations, query optimization, and analytical reporting.
• Hands-on use of AI Copilot technologies for enhancing development efficiency in coding, debugging, and process optimization.

Desirable Skills:

• Proven engineering focus with an emphasis on practical solutions rather than purely theoretical knowledge.
• Familiarity with GitLab workflows and setting up automated CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
• Experience working with IDEs such as Visual Studio Code (VS Code) to support rapid development cycles.
• Knowledge of event-driven data streaming technologies, especially Apache Kafka.
• Understanding of NoSQL databases, including MongoDB, for hybrid data management scenarios.
