Overview
This career opportunity is at Partner level within our career framework and is for the Sustainability Consulting business unit.
The Sustainability Hub Leader will lead the growth of the consulting business across strategic accounts by leveraging both existing and emerging capabilities, while creating new strategic growth areas to deliver significant, profitable growth for the accounts and consulting globally.
In addition to driving client success and business growth, this role will lead the Hub operations — including training strategy, HR coordination, hiring and staffing, performance management, and team leadership — ensuring the Hub operates as a high-performing, collaborative, and inclusive center of excellence

Key Focus Areas

This role is expected to deliver growth and leadership across the following areas:
• Consulting Capabilities: Energy Transition, Low Carbon Energy, Electric Mobility (EV), Net-Zero Strategy, Impact Assessments, Sustainable Supply Chain & Manufacturing, Green IT, Built Environment, and related domains.
• Industry & Domain Understanding: Strong appreciation of sustainability challenges and opportunities across multiple sectors, with the ability to contextualize solutions for different client environments.
• Strategic Relationships: Build and nurture C-level relationships, leveraging strategic partnerships and collaborating with Global Account Executives and business leaders globally to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Growth & Client Leadership
• Define and execute a sound business growth strategy for designated strategic accounts.
• Expand Wipro’s consulting footprint by opening new business opportunities and strengthening client positioning.
• Identify and define differentiated sustainability services and solutions for clients across industries.
• Deliver measurable client value, ensuring alignment with customer goals and sustainability outcomes.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on sustainability transformation, ESG strategy, and decarbonization initiatives.
2. Hub Practice Leadership & Operations
• Lead the overall operations of the Sustainability Consulting Hub, ensuring alignment with global consulting priorities and business objectives.
• Oversee training strategy and capability development programs to build deep sustainability expertise across the team.
• Partner with HR, Recruitment, and Learning & Development to drive hiring, onboarding, and retention strategies.
• Manage staffing and resource allocation across projects to balance client delivery excellence with employee development.
• Drive operational excellence, including performance management, utilization tracking, and budget oversight.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusion within the Hub, ensuring consistent communication and engagement across teams.
• Represent the Hub in leadership forums, contributing to strategic planning, business growth initiatives, and talent programs.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, governance, and compliance standards while maintaining a high-performance environment.
3. People Leadership & Talent Development
• Nurture, develop, and mentor top consulting talent into future sustainability and business leaders.
• Execute the organizational people strategy in close collaboration with HR and Recruitment leads.
• Proactively attract top, diverse talent across sustainability domains and consulting disciplines.
• Create an environment that encourages continuous learning, growth, and innovation.
4. Thought Leadership & Market Positioning
• Develop and articulate Wipro’s point of view on sustainability, ESG, and energy transition topics.
• Engage with industry leaders, analysts, and forums to enhance Wipro’s market positioning and brand visibility.
• Publish thought leadership content (whitepapers, blogs, and insights) to strengthen Wipro’s sustainability narrative.
• Represent Wipro at conferences, industry events, and client forums to build credibility and influence.
• Leverage digital and social platforms to amplify Wipro’s sustainability leadership.

Qualifications & Attributes

• Proven track record of leadership in sustainability consulting, ESG strategy, or related domains.
• Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, regulatory trends, and emerging technologies.
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling consulting practices or business units.
• Experience leading large, diverse teams and managing operations in a matrixed global organization.
• Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance strategic vision and operational execution.
