Credit & Insurance (CI) was created in September 2023 by combining Client’s fastest growing segments, Credit, and Insurance. CI offers a one-stop solution across corporate and asset-based, as well as investment grade and non-investment grade, private credit.CI invests across the credit markets, managing leading strategies that target sectors with strong fundamentals.
The person will be a key member of CI – Asset Allocation team, working closely with Client Insurance Solutions’ Asset Allocation team and other cross-functional partners. As an integral part of our team, you will gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of Private Credit investments and play a pivotal role in supporting the NY stakeholders in preparing Portfolio Reviews, tracking Portfolio Performance, Rating Dashboards, tracking pipeline transactions and delivering clear, client-ready reporting materials for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Work as part of a team-based structure and work with the team to deliver on time.
• Undertake multiple ad hoc projects as requested by senior management. Respond to ad-hoc requests from the Asset Allocations and Insurance analysts and provide relevant information as needed.
• Provide support to analyst in updating and maintaining seasoning requirements and ratings for issuers / clients and Senior Management.
• Perform detailed Portfolio Reviews for Affiliates and Clients and translate complex data into client-friendly reporting templates for recurring monthly and quarterly client updates and portfolio review calls.
• Track Pipeline transactions in the set format and assist in circulation of the material to PMs and clients communicating the latest data/ changes to the team to drive capital allocation decisions and upcoming funding requests.
• Develop tools, dashboards, and processes to streamline the various reporting processes.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy in client deliverables.
• Track deliverables of the team members and review processes & activities before being delivered to stakeholders.
Key Skillsets & Attributes
• Expertise in PowerPoint with the ability to create polished, client-ready materials.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including data analysis.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables with varying timelines in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Master’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field; prior experience in credit, infrastructure, direct lending, project finance is preferred.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Thorough understanding of basic financial concepts and the ability to critically implement them.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while demonstrating high sense of ownership and accountability.
