SAP S4 Supplier Master Data Consultant (SAP S4 MM Consultant


Roles and responsibilities

SAP S4 Supplier Master Data Consultant Full-time n Lead in integration of Supplier Master data between SAP Ariba and SAP S4 HANA.
n Lead in business requirements capturing and in functional specification drafting.
n Support integration technical configurator in drafting technical specifications document.
n Support integration technical team in configuring /deploying the interface.
n Work with various Architects to identify solutions to close the integration gaps (if any).
n Support Test Manager in Design and Development of: (a) Test Strategy; (b) Test Scenario; (c) Test Scripts; (d) Test Plans; and (e) Testing Schedules.
n Provide support in execution of the test plans /test schedules - system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles.
n Lead test problem resolution activities – coordinate with technical teams.
n Lead in cut-over plan design and development, especially w.r.t. migration of the historical data in to SAP Ariba /SAP S4.
n Lead in cut-over plan execution.
n Lead go-live process /functional activities.
Experience N/A n Thorough knowledge of Supplier Master Data as it applies to both SAP Ariba and SAP S4 HANA.
n Working knowledge of SAP Ariba Supplier Profile Management module.
n Thorough knowledge of SAP S4 Accounts Payable module, mainly w.r.t. Supplier Master data usage in Accounts Payable module.
n Working knowledge of integration of SAP Ariba with SAP S4 HANA via CIG.
n Strong documentation experience, across business requirements capturing and functional specification documentation.
n 5+ years in deploying Supplier Master Data integration between SAP Ariba and SAP S4 HANA, in a global setting.
n Financial Services Industry Knowledge is desired.

  • Independently work as an expert in the respective SAP technical workstream for an SAP implementation/conversion/development/enhancement /support project
  • High level design, detailed design and develop technical / integration solutions to meet those needs
  • Work with clients to understand their business needs and processes
  • Participate in technical and technology workshops to understand and deliver integration requirements
  • Drive client discussions to define the integration requirements and translate the requirements to the technical solution
  • Provide training and support to end-users
  • Write technical specifications and test plan for development team to ensure test driven development
  • Manage projects and timelines
  • Provide expert support to various projects and delivery engagements as and when required
  • Drive innovation/transformation agenda in large existing accounts, provide delivery
  • Provide delivery support and escalation management
  • Interaction with SAP and with party partners
