Azure Tech Lead
 
Technical Leadership & Design
•    Lead a team of Azure developers and DevOps engineers in building cloud components for application.
•    Design and govern Azure infrastructure (App Service, AKS, Functions, APIM, Service Bus, Event Grid).
•    Collaborate with Solution Architects to translate application requirements into Azure designs.
•    Ensure scalability and resilience through auto scaling and geo redundancy strategies.
DevOps & Automation
•    Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for microservices and data pipelines.
•    Integrate SAST/DAST security scans, unit tests, and code quality gates into pipelines.
•    Implement blue/green and canary deployments for safe releases.
Data Platform & Integration
•    Architect and optimize Azure SQL Hyperscale, ADF, and Databricks for ETL and data chunk processing.
•    Integrate Ataccama MDM / DQ rules into data flows.
•    Design event driven data exchange using Service Bus and Event Grid.
•    Collaborate with data teams to implement data retention and archival policies for PHI compliance.
Security & Compliance
•    Enforce Zero Trust architecture and least privilege access controls.
•    Manage Key Vault for secrets and encryption keys with rotation policies.
•    Configure APIM policies for OAuth2 token validation and rate limiting.
•    Ensure HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance through auditing and monitoring controls.
•    Integrate with Okta Identity Engine for SSO and MFA flows.
Monitoring & Operations
•    Implement App Insights, Log Analytics, and Datadog APM for observability.
•    Define dashboards for API latency, pipeline health, and resource utilization.
•    Establish incident response and alerting workflows via Logic Apps or PagerDuty.
•    Drive cost optimization and capacity planning for Azure resources.
Governance & Mentorship
•    Establish cloud governance policies for naming, tagging, and resource management.
•    Mentor developers on Azure best practices and secure coding standards.
•    Participate in architecture reviews and design sign offs for projects.
•    Collaborate with security, data, and application teams to align architecture decisions.
