Overview

The role as a Manhattan Active Warehouse Management Analyst will lead growth of the consulting business across strategic account(s) by leveraging both; existing & emerging capabilities, in addition to creating new strategic growth areas to deliver significant profitable growth for the accounts and consulting globally.
As a Manhattan Active WMS Techno Functional Consultant, this position focuses on leading the functional and technical implementation of the Manhattan Active WMS. Responsibilities include leading the functional design, system configuration and working with customers to test and implement interfaces between Manhattan Active WMS and external systems. The WMS Techno Functional Consultant is also responsible for developing project documentation and supporting the testing of the application.
Responsibilities
- Accomplishes business objectives by identifying and solving customer information and processing problems.
- Identifies project requirements by interviewing customers and stakeholders; analyzing operational processes and implementing technical solutions (Warehouse Management Systems, MHE/Automation, RF, Printing, and Shipping Solutions); determining project objectives; documenting results; preparing findings and follow-ups.
- Develops problem solutions by describing requirements in a work-flowchart and diagram; studying system capabilities; analyzing alternative solutions; preparing system specifications.
- Works directly with the customer project team during configuration, testing, training, and implementation.
- Works with customers to test and implement interfaces between Manhattan Associate products or external systems.
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Maintains and shares professional and technical knowledge with clients and peers.

- Functional flow documents
- Process descriptions and diagrams
- High-level system context diagrams
- Configuration plans
- Conversion plans
- Training plans
- Cut-over plans
- Training Job Guides, QRGs, SOPs
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field strongly preferred
- Strong experience with Manhattan Active software packages
- 3 years of experience deploying software
- 1 year of experience with database troubleshooting (SQL)
- Provides senior level design for client specific enhancements
- Proactively troubleshoots and resolves issues that arise during the implementation
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Business Process Definition, Support, and Design

- Minimum 4 years of WMS utilization experience and integration with other process areas
- Tier 1 or Tier 2 WMS experience
- WMS application to and support of warehouse operations
- Printing solutions: documents and labels
- Past experience as a WMS SME with knowledge of Inbound Processing, Outbound Processing, Physical Inventory, RF Transactions, cycle counting, general warehousing, and MHE/Automation integration

- Strong experience working in warehouse and fulfillment operations with a keen sense of:
- Strong leadership skills with past experience in leading workstreams and teams in problem resolution, new development of processes, and implementation of WMS applications, modifications, or extensions.

- Understanding of data and system integration tools, methods, and platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
