Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to support delivery through development and deployment of tools.

Title:UCMDB along with Flexera one

Total Years of experience: 6 years to 10 years

Location: Anywhere in India

Working with UCMDB along with Flexera One

  • Configure and optimise UCMDB / Flexera One for infrastructure and software inventory
  • Investigate and resolve discovery‑related issues through hands‑on technical analysis
  • Lead agent installation, deployment, and troubleshooting across hybrid environments.
  • Design and implement new discovery patterns and integrations.
  • Contribute to tooling upgrades, re-platforming initiatives, and automation of discovery processes.
  • Configure and optimise the integration between discovery tooling and the ServiceNow CMDB to improve accuracy and coverage
  • Support evolution of the ServiceNow CMDB data model to align with enterprise architecture.
  • Collaborate with engineering peers and stakeholders including requirement gathering, planning, and implementation
  • Championing Agile best practices and contribute to continuous improvement & evolving team culture.

Strong Technical Skills;

  • Experience with discovery tools such as UCMDB or FlexeraOne
    • Or experience with other agent based or inventory tooling (for example ServiceNowITOM, BMC Helix, SentinelOne, Dynatrace, AquaSec or similar platforms)
  • Hands-on experience with agent installation and management and/or API-based integrations.
  • Familiarity with hybrid IT environments (for example Azure, GCP, VMware, Oracle or SQL‑based platforms)

Additional Skills are useful but not essential;

  • Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, Jython or Perl
  • Exposure to orchestration or automation tools (for example Ansible or Chef)
  • Familiarity of version control and CI/CD practices (for example GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, Harness or Spinnaker)
