Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to lead and support the implementation, configuration, and optimisation of the Wiz Cloud Security Platform across a multi-cloud environment. The successful candidate will work closely with Security, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Risk teams to strengthen the organisation's cloud security posture, improve visibility of cloud assets, and enable proactive risk management. This role will be responsible for deploying Wiz, integrating it with cloud platforms and security tooling, configuring security policies, and driving remediation of identified risks and vulnerabilities.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation and onboarding of the Wiz Cloud Security Platform.
  • Integrate Wiz with AWS, Azure and Google Cloud environments.
  • Configure cloud security policies, compliance frameworks, risk prioritisation, and alerting mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with cloud and engineering teams to identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
  • Establish Wiz dashboards, reporting, and executive-level security metrics.
  • Integrate Wiz with existing security tools including SIEM, ITSM, IAM, and DevSecOps platforms.
  • Perform cloud security assessments and recommend improvements aligned to security best practices.
  • Support cloud governance initiatives and compliance requirements such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and CIS benchmarks.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and security standards.
  • Work with stakeholders to prioritise remediation activities based on business risk and impact.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to operational and engineering teams.
  • Support security incident investigations involving cloud environments.

  • Successful deployment and onboarding of Wiz across cloud environments.
  • Comprehensive cloud asset visibility and risk reporting.
  • Reduction of critical cloud security vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
  • Established security monitoring and governance processes.
  • Integration of Wiz into existing security operations and remediation workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

 
  • Proven experience implementing and administering Wiz Cloud Security Platform.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms including:
    • Microsoft Azure
    • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
    • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Cloud Workload Protection (CWPP), and vulnerability management.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native security controls and security architecture.
  • Knowledge of identity and access management concepts, including Azure AD/Entra ID and AWS IAM.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation) and DevOps practices.
