• Schedule: standard schedule from Monday to Friday, also rotational on-call

Role and responsibilities:

• Perform advanced trouble shooting of Storage failures – L3 level support.
• Handle escalations from L2 incident Management team.
• Coordination on Problem analysis and providing RCA.
• Plan, execute and report Availability, Performance & Capacity management of storage and services.
• Coordination with vendor / Service provider for problem resolution.
• Change Impact analysis and Change coordination
• Resolving Storage incidents and problems.
• Storage Patch management
• Plan and execute DR requirements for the tower and coordinate the same at project and program level requirements.
• Troubleshoot hardware and provide hands and feet support.
• Meet reporting requirements and represent the tower in customer, project, program meeting and audits as required.
• Lead the tower for technical operations, Operations standardization, and documentation review.
• Manage, maintain & update the Knowledge management database for the tower.
• Coordinate with customers in creation of SOP’s, Templates, policies, etc. And make sure they are implemented and effective.
• Making sure that all the resources meet the required security standards, policy and operations standards, quality guidelines and procedure and process are always followed.
• Conduct audits on incident ticket and service requests and recommend improvements.
• Analysis all the incident, service tickets and initiate for Service improvement and Lean programs.

Requirements:

• 7 – 10 years of experience in handling Storage administration.
• Expert Knowledge in DELL EMC PowerMax/Powerstore, Unity and NetApp, Hitachi, IBM Storage, Native commands of SAN and NAS devices. Vendor Management proactive troubleshooting and storage version upgrades.
• Operating system and Cluster setup knowledge on storage array and Performance analysis and tuning.
• Expert skills in Performance, Availability and Capacity Management of Servers and Storage systems
• Able to handle and troubleshoot hardware issues on EMC Storage devices and NetApp storage arrays.
• Expert knowledge in NetApp storage management, DELL EMC, Cisco and Brocade switches.
• Should have a very good understanding of ITIL process. Preferably ITIL foundation certified.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, good customer handling skills and working experience in working with Virtual customers & Teams.
• Consistent regular interaction with both internal and external customers as well as account managers and management.

Required technical skills:

• 7 -10 years in Dell EMC/NetApp Storage Administration and Hitachi and IBM storage experience.
• NetApp Storage array management.
• EMC (SAN/NAS) storage array Management.
• Good understanding of EMC/Netapp Storage array
• EMC/NetApp Storage array storage management
• Creating volumes, mapping volumes to hosts, volume un-mapping volumes, deletion of volumes.
• Creation of snapshots, mapping snapshots.
• Taking Switch configuration backup.
• Hardware: Tape Library concepts SCIS or Fiber vendor / EMC SAN, NetApp NAS arrays.
• Good Troubleshooting, analyzing and problem-solving skills.
• Good Experience knowledge EMC Storage offerings, NetApp storage, and SAN Switches, HBA, Multipathing software.
