Role Purpose
The Wellness Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting healthcare providers and members by expertly managing a high volume of inbound calls to address inquiries related to benefits, eligibility, authorizations for treatment, provider referrals, and resource identification. This role ensures timely and accurate communication that aids licensed clinical staff in making informed decisions according to established clinical policies. As a vital link between providers, members, and clinical teams, the Wellness Coordinator contributes significantly to delivering seamless healthcare experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound calls, striving for single-call resolution by navigating sophisticated computer systems to retrieve or update pertinent information.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with healthcare providers and members, delivering information that supports positive healthcare outcomes and heightened customer satisfaction.
- Document all interactions thoroughly in real-time with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring compliance with clinical and data governance standards.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource within the team, providing guidance and support on complex inquiries and processes, enhancing overall team proficiency.
- Conduct outbound outreach calls to families, particularly those with children diagnosed with Autism, to discuss provider referrals and behavioral health resources, facilitating access to necessary care.
- Collect, verify, and input clinical and administrative data from providers, maintaining multiple documentation platforms to ensure comprehensive case management.
- Collaborate effectively with providers to clarify clinical information, review benefits and authorizations, and coordinate care delivery to optimize patient outcomes.
- Coordinate clinical information efficiently with internal care teams, expediting case reviews and administrative follow-ups to enhance service timeliness.
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $25,000 to $50,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
