Role Overview
We are looking for a Security Operations Specialist with 3–5 years of experience, with a primary focus on Cloud Security Operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in monitoring, investigating, and managing cloud security alerts, working with Cloud Security Posture Management tools, and supporting remediation of cloud security risks across enterprise environments.
The role also requires a strong understanding of EDR technologies, security monitoring, and active participation in incident response and resolution. The candidate should be capable of analysing alerts, assessing impact, coordinating with technical teams, and ensuring timely closure of security findings.
This role is well-suited for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to build expertise in cloud security operations while contributing to the broader security posture of the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, investigate, and manage cloud security alerts across enterprise cloud environments.
- Review and manage findings from Cloud Security Posture Management tools, including misconfigurations, policy violations, exposed assets, risky permissions, and compliance gaps.
- Perform triage, impact assessment, escalation, and follow-up for cloud-related security events.
- Monitor cloud workloads, identities, storage, network configurations, and access-related risks.
- Coordinate with cloud, infrastructure, application, and security teams to track and remediate cloud security issues.
- Support alert tuning, workflow improvements, and continuous enhancement of cloud security monitoring use cases.
- Monitor and analyze alerts from EDR, SIEM, cloud platforms, and other security tools.
- Investigate endpoint alerts, suspicious behavior, malware detections, and potential compromise using EDR tools.
- Support incident response activities, including investigation, containment support, recovery coordination, and post-incident documentation.
- Document security investigations, remediation actions, lessons learned, and recommend improvements to response procedures.
