Job Description

Strategy & Architecture
•    Define the enterprise roadmap for data platform modernization and Agentic AI adoption (agents, tools, memory, planning, and orchestration).
•    Architect secure, compliant, and scalable AI agent frameworks (e.g., ReAct, tool-augmented agents, multi-agent systems) integrated with enterprise services (APIs, RDBMS, vector stores, MDM, ERP/CRM, ITSM).
•    Establish reference architectures, patterns, and guardrails for PL/SQL-heavy transactional systems extended by AI agents.
Data Platform & PL/SQL Excellence
•    Oversee design and optimization of complex PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning (AWR/ASH/ADDM, partitioning, indexing strategies).
•    Lead database modernization (logical/physical modeling, sharding/partitioning, RAC/Data Guard, high availability, backup/restore, capacity planning).
•    Implement robust ETL/ELT pipelines and data quality frameworks; govern schema evolution and versioning.
Agentic AI Engineering & MLOps
•    Design and govern tool-using AI agents (function/tool calling, planning, self-reflection, retrieval augmentation, and long-horizon workflows).
•    Stand up RAG architectures for enterprise knowledge (vector DBs, chunking, embeddings, retrieval strategies) coupled with structured data via PL/SQL backends.
•    Establish AI Platform Ops/MLOps: evaluation harnesses, safety layers, observability, prompt/version management, rollout gates, cost & latency controls.
Security, Compliance & Risk
•    Enforce data privacy, PII/PHI handling, auditability, and policy-based access.
•    Implement AI safety mechanisms (guardrails, content filters, prompt injection defenses) and governance (model cards, lineage, approvals).
Leadership & Delivery
•    Mentor architects/engineers, build a center of excellence (CoE), and manage vendor/partner ecosystems.
•    Drive SOWs, program plans, budgets, and executive reporting.
•    Own complex production rollouts with strict SLAs and measurable value realization.
