Job Title: HR Compliance Analyst
Location: Cebu City (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-time


Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to support labor standards compliance and background verification processes. This role will be responsible for ensuring adherence to labor laws and regulatory requirements across Wipro entities in Japan and Taiwan, as well as managing background verification (BGV) cases within the Philippines (Cebu).

Key Responsibilities

1. Labor Standards Compliance Assessment

  • Review and assess compliance of Wipro entities in Japan and Taiwan with applicable labor laws and internal standards

  • Coordinate with country POCs to collect and validate compliance evidence and documentation

  • Evaluate salaries, wages, and benefits to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements

  • Identify non-compliance issues, recommend corrective actions, and ensure timely closure

  • Stay updated on local labor laws and regulatory requirements

2. Background Verification (BGV) Red Cases Management

  • Investigate BGV red flag cases and determine potential violations of company policy or Philippine labor law

  • Ensure due process is followed in resolving cases, minimizing legal and compliance risks

  • Collaborate with HR and Operations stakeholders throughout case resolution

  • Provide objective recommendations on case outcomes (dismissal or termination)

  • Ensure policies and procedures are strictly observed throughout the BGV process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field

  • Postgraduate studies are an advantage

  • At least 2–4 years of experience in HR, Employee Relations, or Compliance

  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws; exposure to international labor standards is a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong employee relations and stakeholder management skills

  • Proficient in MS Office and related tools
