Key responsibilities:

Strong knowledge and Minimum 5 years Hands on Experience in 5 or more areas of security like Firewalls: Checkpoint or Palo Alto or Fortinet Palo Alto / Firewall Rule Analyzer

  • The role necessitates excellent communication and organizational leadership abilities
  • Must have expertise in security measures such as firewalls, and network segmentation
  • Planning, studying and then designing a resistant security architecture (Firewall) for various onboarding projects
  • Developing prerequisites for firewalls
  • Performing vulnerability assessment, security testing, and risk analysis
  • Ability to respond to any security-related issues (e.g., data breaches, viruses, phishing scams) and give a thorough post-event study once the situation has been resolved
  • Ability to update and upgrade the organization’s security systems when required
  • Installation, configuration and troubleshooting laptop, printers, scanners, software/applications, compliance controls like Zscaler, Intune, Antivirus, Windows Patches, Windows Defender
  • Experience working and performing admin activities on Windows and MAC OS
  • Experience managing Meeting Room IT Infra, including but not limited to Video Conferencing Solutions (MTR, Cisco, Logitech, Poly), Booking Panels, Microphones, Speakers and TVs

Job Description

  • Basic understanding various Network and Cloud Technologies including Cisco Meraki, Internet Links, Azure, Intune, GSuite.
  • Prior Experience of providing IT Support to Exec and C level leadership.
  • Day to day troubleshooting of Incidents & Problems reported by end users and timely update in the ticketing tool
  • Participating in Major Incident Management Calls and providing inputs/support from Location IT perspective covering technical aspects
  • Handle IMAC’s (pre-approved, low impact – Install, Move, Add and Change)
  • Ensuring Day-One-Delight experience for all New Joiners from IT Service perspective
  • To assist the Ops Manager in delivery of the assigned Infrastructure Mgmt services
  • Handle business escalation calls related to IT Infrastructure and Services
  • Involved in projects on servers, network, security related activities providing hands and feet support to Global Teams
  • Introducing site-specific initiatives to improve service delivery, c-sat

Job Description

  • Active participation in project ramp-ups / transitions / BCP / Audits
  • Experience around ISO Audits, Cyber and Risk Audits and Organizational standards w.r.t IT Infrastructure
  • Maintain and update audit readiness checklist in-line with IT/Security conditions
  • Act as IT contact for mock and live audit process.Liaise with mock and live auditors (internally and externally) to provide documentation and technical guidance in interviews
  • Ability to self-drive Initiatives without much intervention or support from Management and result oriented execution approach to meet deliverables.
  • Establish and enhance good relationships with end-users/customers
  • Review Daily activity reports, infra AV reports, backups & antivirus reports. Taking remedial action to ensure location doesn’t have any vulnerable/non-compliant endpoint/device
  • Provide technical assistance to other team members by way of assisting them in solving challenging technical problems, sharing technical knowledge and adhering to quality processes in ensuring team objectives are met
  • Ability to quickly analyse & diagnose technical problems
  • Problem determination and resolution within SLA's

Skills

Technical Skills

At least 2 of the following firewall‑related skills:

  • Palo Alto
  • Check Point
  • Panorama
  • GlobalProtect VPN
  • IPsec and SSL VPNs
  • FortiGate Firewall

Qualifications

  • Educational attainment: Completed at least 2nd year in College
  • Security Certification for Palo Alto / Checkpoint/FortiGate Firewalls
  • ITIL V3 / ISO / Prince2 / MPM certification would be added advantage
  • Technical & Professional Competencies: Understanding of technology (hardware & software) and specific domain expertise
  • Flexibility to work on 24x7 operations and odd hours
  • Effective Communication Skills
  • Knowledge of Organizational/Corporate standards & the IT business nuances
  • High self-drive and confidence
