Primary Skill:

o Oracle Database Administration

o Oracle Exadata Administration

o Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)

o Oracle Golden Gate:

o Linux shell scripting

o Individual needs to have strong verbal and written communication skills

o In-Depth understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery requirements and solutions 

o Linux (Red hat/Oracle) administrator job description, listing the detailed duties, responsibilities, and expectations.

 

Roles and Responsibilities 

 Administration and monitoring Red Hat / Oracle Linux Operating System in an enterprise level environment.

Experience with high availability configurations and managing virtual machines in a storage environment.

Installs and supports primarily Red Hat / Oracle Linux server operating systems.

Responsible for the build, operation, and on-going support of servers including storage and peripherals.

Responsible for the management and repair of server hardware, software, tools, and peripherals.

Ensures servers are updated and patched.

Ensures server security compliance.

Knowledge of all network protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, RPC, etc.

knowledge of all essential network services such as DNS, NFS, LDAP/Kerberos, NTP, sendmail/postfix/etc, and OpenSSH.

Configuring volume groups and logical volumes, extended logical volumes for file system growth needs using Logical Volume Manager commands.

Configuring distributed file systems and administering NFS server and NFS clients and editing auto-mounting mapping as per system/user requirements.

Performs server break/fix functions and makes recommendations for corrective action.

Identifies or reacts to problems related to the technology infrastructure or in support of Linux environments.

Responsible for providing comprehensive support for design, implementation, and all level of support in our Linux systems and its associated infrastructure.

Document all operational processes and procedures to manage all aspects of the deployed systems.

Define and implement automated system installation/configuration procedures.

Mandatory Skills: Cloud Oracle Infrastructure Admin .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
