Role Overview

The Program Manager – PPL Operations will lead end-to-end governance, execution, and scaling of Pick-Pack-Load (PPL) operations across the United States supporting Wing Marketplace (1P) operations. This role is responsible for operational stability, workforce management, SOP compliance, safety, and continuous improvement across all sites and partners.

 

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership

Lead national PPL operations strategy, execution, and performance.

Ensure consistent implementation of standardized Pick-Pack-Load SOPs.

Establish governance frameworks for operational reviews and reporting.

Operational Excellence & SOP Compliance

Ensure adherence to key workflows:

Start-of-day readiness

Inventory and catalog checks

Order fulfillment (pick, pack, weigh, load)

End-of-day closure and equipment accountability

Maintain SLA compliance and audit readiness.

Multi-Site Operations Management

Manage operations across multiple US locations.

Coordinate with PPL, SSA/SSM, and CX teams.

Oversee both 1P and dual-operations environments.

Performance Management

Track and improve KPIs such as:

SLA adherence

Productivity

Order failures and cancellations

Lead reporting and performance review processes.

Safety & Compliance

Enforce safety protocols and PPE compliance.

Ensure site conduct adherence and incident reporting.

Workforce & Vendor Management

Lead staffing strategy and vendor management.

Oversee hiring, onboarding, and training.

Ensure workforce productivity and compliance standards.

Client & Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary point of contact for clients and leadership.

Handle escalations and drive RCA-based improvements.

Continuous Improvement

Identify process gaps and implement preventive controls.

Drive productivity and quality improvement initiatives.

 

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.

8+ years of experience in:

Operations or Program Management

Logistics, fulfillment, retail, or field operations

 

Mandatory Experience

Proven experience managing large-scale frontline/blue-collar workforce, including:

Pickers

Packers

Loaders

Warehouse associates

Demonstrated ability to:

Manage high-volume workforce operations across shifts and multiple locations.

Drive attendance, discipline, and performance management.

Work within vendor-driven staffing models.

Hands-on experience in:

Physical operations environments such as warehouse, retail, fulfillment, or last-mile delivery.

Shift-based operations, including weekends and extended hours.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in:

Drone delivery or last-mile fulfillment operations

Walmart or large retail ecosystems

Operational analytics and performance dashboards

 

Key Skills

Program and stakeholder management

Operational excellence and process discipline

Workforce management (blue-collar environments)

Vendor governance and accountability

Data-driven decision-making

Strong communication with clients and field teams

Mandatory Skills: Drone Scan .

 

Experience: 8-10 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
